LIVE EVENT: the Girl with the Parasol

I'm happy to share that on the 7th of March, the Danish Museum of National History is hosting a late from 6pm to 9pm (18:00-21:00), which me and Mie Rose have been lucky to be able to help set up! (@Naniblog will be there too 8D)

The late will feature TWO sneak-peek cosplay shows, with cosplayers from our community and furthermore two exciting lectures; "Japanese cosplay culture versus Danish cosplay culture" by Mie Rose & "a view on asian modern culture" by Martin Petersen, the head researcher for the exhibition.

But other exciting things are of course featured and we invite you to make good use of the Purikura machine and our little photostudio, completely free of charge!

Myself and the staff ENCOURAGES you to bring your family and friends - Even wear your favorite costume! And if you do not have any, don't worry, we got some you can borrow for your photosession!

Please also do take some time and enjoy the rest of the exhibition and tell us what you think about it in our guestbook - Can you find me and Mie Rose's personal purikura?

I hope I'll get to see you this coming friday!

"Girl with the Parasol" & New Make-Up Palette!

Over the last few weeks I've been working in cooperation with the danish National Museum on their new exhibition "The Girl with the Parasol", where I've been asked to administrate the 'living picture' part, which is - if you haven't already guessed - cosplay.
We launched the exhibition friday and opened to the public today, and I've been hostessing with a few other cosplayers, which was a very new experience, but very exciting and I enjoyed it a lot.

If you live in Denmark, or are visiting over the next 5 months, you should definitely have a look at the amazing art that is displayed, and I personally and other costume makers will be there hostessing and creating events during some weekends!

Friday after we got off, me and Mie went to get some dinner and then had a quick look-see around town, and since I really wanted to oogle some Urban Decay we went to look at make-up.
Passing through Sephora, which I've done a few times, always just rushed before, because I couldn't deal with the prices, but yesterday we took our time and I found a palette that I really really liked.

I've been itching to get some shiny eye shadows, since most of the once I own are matte, and shimmer just gives a much more alive effect when you do costume make-up (and party make-up for that matter!)

I found this "Front Cover" Hot Shades Cool Colours, and I just knew I had to take it home after I'd tried some. All the colors I could use and with just the right amount of shine to them, yeeesss.

My two favorite colors are definitely Flash and Spark, I can't wait to play with this!

The packaging itself is definitely theme based, and something I think Front Cover does a lot, I'm not really for or against it, but I do feel that the bottom layer could easily break off when opened D:

Also as you can see my hair is now a nice shade of pastel blue and I'm really really satisfied with it at the moment, it'll be hell to keep, but I do actually feel a little more mature with this - the lipstick helps too of course :P

Biebs & Mustache Crib 1.5

Ooooh, my dear blog readers, it's been a while, and I'm not sorry, because... No reason to blog about uninteresting stuff is there?
BUT THIS TIME I GOT SOME STUFF TO SHARE! Oooh baby. (Baby, baby, oooh)

Last weekend I attended the danish BELIEVE concert of Justin Bieber, and I wore my 'custom' shirt 8D I felt super pretty, oh so pretty.

I used most of the day to listen to the tracks on BELIEVE, since... Okay, I'm not an all an avid fan, so I had no idea what to expect, and I got to admit, that most of the songs were very much not to my liking, and he's just too nasal when he tries to be 'emotional'.
Anycase! Arriving at the venue with my step-sister and girlfriend, we could pretty much walk right in, since we had seated tickets, VERY NICE BTW. We got to see the place fill up, which was pretty fun, and discovered that neon pink and neon green bodysuits are the SHIZZ between youngsters at the moment.

Now the actual ACTUAL concert didn't start until three hours after 'ticket time',  two hours AFTER the warm-up. Something I think is very disrespectful to the people attending, I'm sorry boyfriend Biebs, but Bryan Adams were on stage 15 minutes after warm-up, and that's how it supposed to be, mutual respect for each others time. I get that there can be delays and technical difficulties, but I also know that when these things occur, the audience is notified, and here we were just left hanging, edging on our seats, because no one wants to accidentally miss the start of the whole thing.

BUT BUT BUT! When the concert started properly it was an amazing show, and the intro was a mix of the newest hits and presenting him was the OST of Prometheus, excuse me and my semi-Alien feels.
I'm very happy I got to experience Justin Bieber live, but after feeling the collective 'fuck you I do what I want', it's a last for me.

In other news; I've moved!
I got a dorm room, since my dad will be moving soon, and me and mustacheranger have had bad luck finding a place (still looking though), this is a temporary solution, but very close to my school and a decent size, so far I'm very content. Also have greenery outside my window, which is very nice!

Today is nothing special other than homework, but I still felt like dressing up a little, since I dug out this tank-top I got from a Norwegian friend /way back, and I just had to wear it asap!
And holy god, my hair is getting so long, and I want to cut it, but I'm so afraid of cutting it uneven XD
